A South Portland man will serve five years in prison for conspiring to distribute and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, the U.S. Attorney's Office.
Ales Moustrouphis, 22, of South Portland, was sentenced to prison Wednesday by Judge George Singal in U.S. District Court on the two crack cocaine-related charges, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office. Threatening incident at Reiche School leads to man's arrest

A Portland man was charged with seven counts of criminal threatening and interference with constitutional and civil rights after police said he threatened students and made "derogatory statements to the students in reference to their race while he threatened to shoot them."
At approximately 3 p.m. Wednesday, Portland Police officers were called to the Reiche School at 166 Brackett St. in response to a complaint that students were threatened by an adult, police said. Seven students ranging from third to fifth graders were on the playground at the Reiche School participating in an afterschool program at the time, police said. The adult was on the school property with his child when he confronted the victims.
The adult male, identified as Derek Weeks, 32, of Portland, was arrested at a residence on High Street.
Police said Weeks made "harassing and derogatory statements" to the students and made a gesture with his hand replicating a firearm. No weapon was displayed or located during the investigation, police said.
